Neoklassiker at it´s best – Colnago "Tecnos" mit Campagnolo Record 8 Fach Gruppe

Ernesto Colnago wurde am 9. Februar 1932 in Cambiago bei Mailand, Italien, geboren. Schon als Teenager begeisterte er sich für Fahrräder und schraubte schon zu dieser Zeit sehr viel herum. 1952 gründete er dann Colnago und begann als Mechaniker für mehrere professionelle Teams zu arbeiten. Die Marke Colnago steht wohl wie kaum eine andere für Tradition im Radsport. Ernesto Colnago tüftelte immer sehr viel, ging Kooperationen beispielsweise mit Ferrari ein, hatte immer die größten Rennfahrer wie Eddy Merckx an seiner Seite, fing früh an den Werkstoff Carbon in den Rahmenbau zu integrieren und stattet auch heute noch Pro - Tour Team mit Rahmen aus.

Das hier vorgestellte TECNOS Rad ist der beste und leichteste Stahlrahmen, den Colnago je für den Profibereich entwickelt hat. Er würde von 1995-2000 gebaut und vertrieben. Der hervorragende Rahmen besteht aus extra von Columbus für Colnago entwickelten Nivachrom Stahlrohren mit überdimensionalen Ober- und Unterrohren, die eine fünfseitige Kleeblattform aufweisen. Verchromte Dreipunkt- Spezialmuffen am Steuerrohr und an der Precisa-Stahlgabel machen dieses Set zu einem echten Highlight.

Eigentlich ist dieses Rad zu fast schon zu "neu" und "modern" für meinen Laden, aber irgendwie fand ich es dennoch passend. Ein top Stahlrahmen mit besten Komponenten, wenn auch mal nicht für die L´Eroica geeignet, aber dennoch ein schönes italienisches Rad und die letzte Entwicklungsstufe im Bereich "Stahl" bei Colnago.

Aufgebaut ist ein solcher Neo - Klassiker natürlich mit der besten Gruppe der damaligen Zeit. Hier kommt natürlich die Campagnolo Record in 2x8 Fach schon mit den seltenen Record Titanium Schalthebeln zum Einsatz. Die Gruppe arbeitet einfach perfekt. Das ergonomische schwarze Modolo Cockpit passt ebenso perfekt wie der top Laufradsatz mit besten Vredestein Clincher Reifen. Der Art Decor Sattel rundet dieses Rad ab und macht wohl schon jetzt zu einem Sammlerstück. Wer allerdings ein Sportgerät sucht, welches sich nicht hinter modernen Rädern verstecken muss, der findet hier ein absolutes High - End Rad.

The TECNOS bike presented here is the best and lightest steel frame Colnago has ever developed for the professional sector. It would be built and distributed from 1995-2000. The outstanding frame is made of Nivachrom steel tubes specially developed by Columbus for Colnago, with oversized top and bottom tubes that have a five-sided cloverleaf shape. Chromed three-point special sleeves on the head tube and on the Precisa steel fork make this set a real highlight.

Actually, this bike is too almost "new" and "modern" for my store, but somehow I still found it fitting. A top steel frame with the best components, even if once not suitable for the L'Eroica, but still a beautiful Italian wheel and the last stage of development in the field of "steel" at Colnago.

Built such a Neo - classic is of course with the best group of the time. Here, of course, the Campagnolo Record in 2x8 compartment is already used with the rare Record Titanium shift levers. The group works simply perfect. The ergonomic black Modolo cockpit fits just as perfectly as the top wheelset with best Vredestein Clincher tires. The Art Decor saddle rounds out this bike and probably already makes it a collector's item. However, if you are looking for a sports device that does not have to hide behind modern bikes, you will find here an absolute high - end bike.
