Cinelli, wohl eine der traditionsreichsten italienischen Marken im Radsport überhaupt! Kurz nachdem Cino Cinelli 1948 seine Rahmenbauwerkstatt in Mailand eröffnet hatte, stellte er das Modell "SC" oder "Supercorsa" vor, zeitweise auch als "Speciale Corsa" bezeichnet. Wesentliche Merkmale des Rahmens wie der Gabelkopf mit den abfallenden Schultern und die zwischen den Sitzstreben konstruierte Sattelklemmung sind seitdem ein unverändertes Merkmal des Rahmens, der nach heute in seiner ursprünglichen Bauweise erhältlich ist.

Damit ist "Supercorsa" der am längsten gebaute Rennradrahmen überhaupt.

Eine kleine Beschreibung und Geschichte zum Rahmen ist auch auf der Cinelli – Seite zu finden. Eine wesentliche Änderung erfuhr der Rahmen 1979, nachdem Cinelli von Antonio Colombo, Chef des Rohrherstellers Columbus, übernommen worden war. Colombo ließ vom weltberühmten Designer Italo Lupi ein neues Logo für Cinelli entwickeln. Seitdem ist das geflügelte "C" eines der bekanntesten Markenzeichen in der Fahrradwelt und auch Erkennungszeichen des Supercorsa. Eine wichtige technische Änderung am Rahmen war die Umstellung von gepressten Muffen auf präzisere Feingussmuffen Anfang der 1980er-Jahre. Weitere kleinere Modifikationen betrafen in den folgenden Jahren die Zugführungen und das Rahmenmaterial. Ansonsten hat sich der Rahmen in seiner Bauweise seither nicht mehr verändert. Er wird heute von einem erfahrenen Rahmenbauer in der Nähe von Mailand in 17 Größen gebaut, auch eine Bahn-Version ist lieferbar.

Das hier vorgestellte Rad ist mehr als 35 Jahre alt und in einem traumhaften originalen Zustand. Der Rahmen ist schon aus den damals populärsten Columbus SLX Rohren gefertigt und im klassischen 'Rosso Ferrari' Rot lackiert. Natürlich gebaut mit der berühmten „Spoiler" Tretlagermuffe und dem kleinen "C" in den verchromten Muffen. Aufgebaut muss dieses Rad natürlich mit der Campagnolo Super Reocrd Gruppe sein. Auch die Gruppe ist, wie das gesamte Rad, in einem herrlichen Zustand. Der Käfig des Schaltwerks ist getunt und auch die Schalthebel ausgefräst. Der tolle Laufradsatz mit den schönen Hochflanschnaben und den Mavic GP4 Felgen ist wie neu. Ich habe sogar die originalen D´Alessandro Reifen montiert gelassen - diese halten sie Luft, sind für den Sammler sicher toll, wer das Rad intensiver fahren will, sollte neue montieren. Die Hoods der Bremshebel sind ebenfalls noch original. Die Rohloff Kette zeigt auch noch keinen Verschließ.
Das Cinelli Supercorsa ist wohl eines der zeitlosesten Räder überhaupt und sollte gerade in diesem komplett originalen Zustand in keiner Sammlung fehlen. Auch zum Fahren ist es natürlich ein geniales Rad.

Cinelli, probably one of the most traditional Italian brands in cycling at all! Shortly after Cino Cinelli opened his frame-building workshop in Milan in 1948, he introduced the model "SC" or "Supercorsa", at times also referred to as "Speciale Corsa". Key features of the frame, such as the fork crown with sloping shoulders and the saddle clamp constructed between the seat stays, have remained an unchanged feature of the frame ever since, and it is still available today in its original design.

This makes "Supercorsa" the longest built road bike frame ever.

A small description and history of the frame can also be found on the Cinelli - page. The frame underwent a major change in 1979, after Cinelli was taken over by Antonio Colombo, head of the tube manufacturer Columbus. Colombo had the world-famous designer Italo Lupi develop a new logo for Cinelli. Since then, the winged "C" has been one of the best-known trademarks in the bicycle world and also the identifying mark of the Supercorsa. An important technical change to the frame was the switch from pressed lugs to more precise investment cast lugs in the early 1980s. Other minor modifications in the following years concerned the cable guides and the frame material. Otherwise, the frame's construction has not changed since then. It is now built by an experienced frame builder near Milan in 17 sizes, and a track version is also available.

The bike presented here is more than 35 years old and in a dreamlike original condition. The frame is already made of the then most popular Columbus SLX tubes and painted in the classic 'Rosso Ferrari' red. Of course built with the famous 'Spoiler' bottom bracket lug and the small 'C' in the chrome lugs. Built this bike must of course be with the Campagnolo Super Reocrd group. The groupset, like the entire bike, is also in wonderful condition. The rear derailleur cage is tuned and the shifters are also milled out. The great wheelset with the beautiful high flange hubs and Mavic GP4 rims is like new. I even left the original D'Alessandro tires mounted - these keep them air, are certainly great for the collector, who wants to ride the bike more intensively should mount new ones. The hoods of the brake levers are also still original. The Rohloff chain shows also still no Verschließ.
The Cinelli Supercorsa is probably one of the most timeless bikes ever and should be in this completely original condition in any collection missing. Also for driving it is of course a brilliant wheel.
